Located adjacent to the Stupp Corporation pipe mill, Bayou Coating applies fusion bonded epoxy corrosion coating to pipe ranging in size from 8-5/8-inch through 42-inch diameters in 90-foot lengths. In addition to standard FBE, the plant also applies dual layer FBE for high temperature applications as well as abrasive resistant (ARO) and non-slip powder coatings.

The plant is certified to ISO:9001 standards and was designed and built to complement the production capabilities of the Stupp facility.

Bayou Coating also has an internal coating plant that is capable of applying both flow efficiency as well as corrosion coatings in lengths up to 80 feet'.

The coated pipe is either loaded directly onto railcars or trucks or placed into storage.  Padded forklifts are used to avoid any handling damage, insuring the integrity of the coating is maintained prior to shipment.
